Hey all, I’m Taylor Lundy and welcome to my new blog! Please take off your shoes at the entrance, don’t wanna track mud on the carpets. Little about myself: as of writing this I’m a junior at FSU and my major is Computer Science. Although I speak fluent computer, I consider myself a bit of an artist as well. I like to draw a bit in my free time (been drawing still life a lot recently) and I hope to use it somewhere in my career someday (games perhaps?). Reading comic books is pretty cool too, I guess.
As far as favorites, favorite TV show is Neon Genesis Evangelion (if you haven’t watched this yet, what is wrong with you?), favorite 80’s flick is the Goonies, and favorite album is This Old Dog by Mac Demarco. I’m all alright for disagreements on that, I just hope you’re able to come to terms with how poor your taste is. Speaking of poor taste, I also cook pretty often as well. It started as a means of survival, but I’ve grown to like it over the years, keeps the ribs sticking together and all that.
As far as Emerging Technologies (ya know, the whole reason for this blog in the first place), throughout the course, I wanna tryout a whole bunch of different techniques and software to gain some inspiration for new projects, and maybe to find out what I like and don’t like. Can’t knock it till you try it, and I’m trying to knock a little harder. But I’ve gotten my hands dirty in a field I didn’t really know before. When I built my first computer, I didn’t have an idea of what to do until the parts came in. I figured that out without to much headache, maybe I’ll do just fine.
